Horse Riding in the South of Scotland

South Of Scotland Countryside Trails

Planning Your Trip

How to Get Here

The South of Scotland is easy to reach with routes from all directions touching its boundaries. It’s an easy drive from most cities in the North of England and central Scotland and ideal for day-trips, short breaks or longer visits. The main trunk roads leading to the region are the A1 in the East, the A7, the A68 and the main M74 north/south motorway.

For those who don’t want to walk, cycle or ride, the South of Scotland has plenty else to offer, from historic houses and abbeys to golf, gardens and old market towns.  The opportunities are limited only by your imagination!
